How do I book a carer ticket for a registered disabled guest?
Carers go free at our sites please book a ticket as usual for your registered disabled guest and then show your CEA carer card at the museum entrance.
I've tried to create an account and get the message 'Login Name already exists!' what do I do?
You will get this message if you have previously used the Campus West website to book tickets. Not to worry, there is no need to create a new account as you can use the same login details here. This is because these three venues - Campus West, The Hive at Hatfield and The Watermill at Mill Green are all part of our Connect Welwyn Hatfield initiative.
If you do not remember what your password is for any of the sites, please click the Forgotten Your Password link when the Login screen pops up and a reset password link will be sent to your email address.
However, if you are new or have no previous account with Campus West or any other venues as mentioned earlier, please click the Proceed to Checkout button and then the Join Now button to create a new account.
Where is my ticket confirmation?
If you are successful with your booking, a receipt of your card payment will be emailed to you and you will then receive a second email confirming your tickets and other purchases if any. This email tends to arrive a minute or two after though.
If you cannot find your ticket confirmation email, the first thing to do is to check your spam, junk mail or trash folder. Search sales@millgreenmuseum or sales@ for ease.
If you find the email from Mill Green Museum, (sales@millgreenmuseum), select it, right click and move to the folder of your choice e.g. inbox.
Also check your email rules and disable any rules or forwarding rules relating to this email address.
You can also change your antivirus software program filter to allow emails from sales@millgreenmuseum. Email programs and providers as well as firewalls and antivirus software has been known to sometimes block legitimate emails.
You can access your online account only when it is activated i.e. by booking online or having your account and password set previously. All your purchase history along with details of tickets for your up and coming events will be listed on your account.
Here is a guide on how to check your tickets on your Online Account
You do not need to print the tickets out but you can just show the ticket details displayed in your online account as this will allow you entry.
Known issues: We have noticed that if you have a Yahoo, Hotmail and Live.com legacy email accounts, and this is not particular to us, that emails sometimes just don’t get to the your email account. We would recommend updating your email account or use another non legacy email address.
My online booking has been unsuccessful but my bank is saying the money has been taken from my account?
An online booking is successful when you get a confirmation email of your order.
However there are few occasions when online transactions are unsuccessful and customers are told by their bank that the money has been taken from their account. What happens in such situations is that the bank authorises the payment and ring-fenced the money with the expectation that we will collect the payment but we may be unable to do this if there is a communications failure or an error during the booking process. Since we cannot claim the money, the tickets are not released, no confirmation email is sent and the seats or spaces will still be available to be booked. For the customer, the money will be returned back automatically by the bank into the customer’s account usually after 5 working days.
